It’s almost time to round up your friends and family as we get ready for the first big bank holiday weekend this May! And we’ve got everything you need to make it one to remember. Kick things off with Friday night cocktails and pints, keep the weekend vibes flowing with all-day drinks, and toast to no work on Monday with Sunday tipples. Long weekends were made for this – see you at the bar!
A traditional family-friendly pub
Soak up our friendly service and homely charm in the Essex town of Manningtree, just on the banks of River Stour. We’re the perfect place to sit back and relax with your favourite drink in hand.
Our rear garden provides plenty of sunny spots for friends and family to get together. Let the children’s imagination run wild on the lawn and relax under summer sun.

We will be open for breakfast as usually Good Friday and Saturday and now also on Sundays!! 10am until 11.30am (can do later if you call ahead!) This weekends breakfast special - 8oz Rump steak, egg, mushroom, tomato and chips only £12.95! (Subject to availability)
