⚽️⚽️⚽️ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AMAZON PRIME 5/11/24 8 PM LIVERPOOL v BAYER LEVERKUSEN The premier league leaders great start to the season is put to another tough European test with the visit of one of last seasons team of the year,Leverkusen have also made a good start to this season and with former Liverpool favourite Xabi Alonso as manager who was heavily linked with the Liverpool job this game has a lot of interest. Two of Europe's in form teams meet and with the Reds at home and in even better form than Bayer they should get the win in a tough game. TNT SPORTS/DISCOVERY+ 8 PM CELTIC v RB LEIPZIG The Glasgow giants look to be back on an even keel after an earlier wobble this season and the excellent draw at Atlanta in their last European outing proves that they are capable of adapting to the difficult European opposition and they will need that in this game against Leipzig who are having a great domestic season and are laying 2nd in the league just behind Bayern Munich. Leipzig’s first league defeat of the season at the weekend might of dented confidence slightly so am taking Celtic to build on their last European result and get a important win to try and help their progress in the competition. 8 PM SPORTING LISBON v MANCHESTER CITY This for me is game of the night the Portuguese league leaders will want to show their out going coach that he is leaving an excellent side by leaving and going to Man Utd. Man City have a few problems with the team at the moment with form and injury to key players and for the first time in recent memory they are showing signs of frailty the defeat at Bournemouth a case in point! Sporting will give City problems and if there’s a good time to play Man City it’s now. I am taking Sporting to sneak a surprise win over an out of sorts City. SKY SPORTS SKY BET CHAMPIONSHIP ALL 7.45PM-8PM All the evenings fixtures from the Championship are being televised but obviously the standout one is…. PLYMOUTH v PORTSMOUTH This basement clash is so important to both teams and really even at this early stage in the season three points is a must for each team as a point won’t really change the landscape so expect a game where both teams will have a go at each other Pompey are in not bad away form which bodes well for them both teams are shipping goals so I expect goals and a rare Portsmouth win. SKY BET LEAGUE ONE 7.45 PM Both Games covered live EFL TROPHY 7 PM All ties covered live

⚽️TONIGHTS GAMES⚽️ SKY SPORT PREMIER LEAGUE 8 PM FULHAM v BRENTFORD A Monday night West London derby between two teams who have more often than not looked good this season so with that in mind am expecting an open game. These two sides have really started well and each have forwards on form so with a bit of luck Sky might of stumbled on a game that the neutrals will love am looking at these two evenly matched sides and I can’t split them so am taking a score draw. ITV4 FA CUP 1st ROUND 7.15 PM CHESHAM v LINCOLN CITY The last game of the first round and according to ITV there could be the possibility of a giant killing hence the keeping it back to the televised Monday night game Chesham have only lost one of their last six games and Lincoln have won their last two so the recent form for both is quite good so this one might need penalties to decide it.

⚽⚽⚽ 2 PM TOTTENHAM v ASTON VILLA At this moment in time, recent results tell you we are not sure of which version of Spurs we are going to get from game to game a poor performance at Crystal Palace was followed by a win over current champions Man City, which proves the point! Villa are going great guns at the moment despite the surprise defeat versus Crystal Palace in midweek. Both teams play defensively in the same way which had its risks so this game could be in my opinion very high scoring and a game in which I’m expecting Villa to carry on their great league form and beat Spurs. 4.30 PM MAN UTD v CHELSEA The Reds have had an interesting week with the loss of their manager the chase of a new one all but completed all followed by a cup win in midweek. Chelsea who have had their fair share of turmoil recently look to be heading in the right direction now despite the midweek cup defeat at Newcastle when their team was much changed. I think Chelsea with their main players back will take advantage of what was a foggy situation at Old Trafford and carry on their very good current league form with a win and give the new United manager something to think about in his new job.

It's Rugby Internationals Day!🏉🍻 We're not sure about you but we're excited...get the rounds in! #enjoy #manningtreepubs #loveyourpub #matesdates #pubsinessex #drinks #rugby #rugbyinternationals #rugbynations #pubsinmanningtree

⚽⚽⚽ TNT SPORTS/DISCOVERY+ PREMIER LEAGUE 2/11/24 12.30 PM NEWCASTLE v ARSENAL Expect two much changed line ups from each sides midweek victories. The gunners have had a difficult recent period in the league and will expect a hard game in this lunch time kickoff against a Newcastle team who have had a sticky start to the season, but it looks like the Magpies are starting to get back into the groove so this could be a good test of the Gunners championship credentials in a game where I think the points will be shared in what I think will be a feisty affair if last season is anything to go by. SKY SPORTS 5.30 PM PREMIER LEAGUE WOLVES v CRYSTAL PALACE The Midlands Giants will want to build on the good draw that was gained at Brighton in their last outing and will hope that performance will help them to start pulling themselves up the table And away from the bottom of the table. Likewise Palace Who have had a mini revival with two wins on the bounce will want to do the same unfortunately it looks as if Palace and their injury troubles could be a hindrance to them but with the extra confidence gained from their wins I believe could at least gain them a draw. SKY SPORTS SKY BET CHAMPIONSHIP All 12.30PM BLACKBURN v SHEFFIELD UNITED OXFORD v SWANSEA STOKE v DERBY Sky’s three championship games at lunchtime are all watchable but the standout game is the SHEFFIELD UTD v BLACKBURN fixture where both teams are in play-off positions and will want to maintain that which should make for a tough contest between these two sides hoping to get back to the premiership so a important game where I think the points will be shared.

Be sure to get this one on your calendar! We have even more live music to come in the month of November from the brilliant "Better than your Boyfriend' Friday 22nd November! #livemusic #pubsinessex #manningtreepubs #pubswithlivemusic #drinks #weekend

⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ SKY SPORTS SKY BET CHAMPIONSHIP 1/11/24 8 PM LUTON TOWN v WBA Although Luton are in the bottom threy are not too far adrift of the play-off places if they can string two or three wins together West Brom are having a slightly better season and are currently in a play-off position which they hope to maintain by getting a point or possibly three from this match so plenty to play for in this Friday night encounter where I think the points will probably be shared. FA CUP 1st Round NOV 1st-4th BBC/ITV Tamworth v Huddersfield Northampton v Kettering Town Sutton v Birmingham Harrogate v Wrexham Chesham v Lincoln The FA cup starts again this weekend and my choice of game over that period would be the two on Sunday at Sutton & Harrogate as their might be a giant killer in one of those two games.

We have live music next weekend from the fantastic 'Four Kicks' bringing you all the best indie rock covers! #pubsinessex #livemusic #pubswithlivemusic #drinks #weekend #manningtreepubs #matesdates #loveyourpub #bar
